Mobile Phones and Drugs Found in Prison Raid

On the 16th January 2011, about 100 police and security officials took part in a sweep of Rayong Central Prison looking for illicit material. The officials searched the cells, lockers and other areas used by the prisoners. What they found were 10 mobile phones, 36 SIM cards, 12 battery chargers and also some drugs. Rayong Central Prison presently has 4,562 prisoners. 3,622 are male and 940 are female. The majority are there for drug offences.

    How do they manage to get mobile phones and chargers into the prison is beyond me.
